SOUTH OFFSHORE was contracted for the installation of 2 I-tubes and a 27km subsea electrical cable between two platforms, in 100m depth. This project was located in Republique of Congo.
 

Scope Of Work:

  • Platforms Preparatory Works (Installation of Pull-in System on each platform)
  • Design / Fabrication & Installation of 2 I-tubes
  • Installation & Pre-commissioning of 27km subsea electrical cable between 2 platforms.
 

Execution Strategy:

  • Project management, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Onshore works, Offshore operations performed by South Offshore
  • Fabrication and subcontracted services
  • Sourcing and mobilization of an installation vessel
  • Management of interfaces and simultaneous operations
 

Project Key Facts: 

  • Intervention on critical assets for CLIENT
  • Fast Track campaigns (6 months between Effective Date and Electrical cable start-up)
  • Diverless operations / Deployment of Patented Smart Clamp solution
  • 40 000 man-hours, of which:
    • 6,000 hours of engineering
    • 3,000 hours of project management
    • 5,000 hours of onshore preparation
  • No Defect, completion ahead of the Project Schedule and within Client’s critical path requirements
