Description

Located in Republic of Congo, Djeno Terminal, the export system consists of two Single Point Mooring (SPM) buoys located in 23m and 35m of water respectively. Each are held on location using six mooring chains and drag anchors.
CLIENT decided to perform a mooring re-alignment and a full replacement of the subsea and the floating ancillaries for the SPM (hawsers, floating & subsea hoses, umbilicals, etc…).
South Offshore was contracted for the full EPCI Buoy Maintenance Project, including, project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication and offshore installation campaigns.
 

Scope Of Work:

  • Uninstallation hawsers, floating hoses, subsea hoses, umbilicals
  • Buoy mooring uninstallation and re-alignement
  • Installation of new hawsers, floating hoses, subsea hoses, umbilicals
  • PLEM maintenance activities
  • All marine activities, including towing of old, new floating hoses
  • Onshore preparatory works:
    • old floating & subsea hoses disassembly & cleaning
    • new floating & subsea hoses assembly & testing
  • Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up assistance
 

Execution Strategy: EPCI Lump Sum

  • Project management, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Onshore works, Offshore operations performed by South Offshore
  • Fabrication and subcontracted services
  • Sourcing and mobilization of an installation vessel
  • Sourcing and mobilization of a diving spread and personnel
  • Management of interfaces and simultaneous operations
 

Project Key Facts: 

  • Intervention on critical assets for CLIENT and Republic of Congo production export facilities
  • Fast Track campaigns (6 months between Effective Date and first export system start-up)
  • 42 000 man-hours, of which:
    • 4,000 hours of engineering
    • 3,000 hours of project management
    • 7,000 hours of onshore preparation
  • No Defect, completion ahead of the Project Schedule, and within Client’s critical path requirements
